Now, students will get a taste of robotics

"This is good news for those who want to study robots and robotics"
  • Perhaps for the first time in India, Bangalore’s PurpleLeap has tied up with Singapore-based robotics education specialists, Robhatah, to educate students on robotics in tier-2 and tier-3 engineering colleges.
  • The programme is split into two levels — basic and expert. Robologics is the basic level, which can be completed in one semester. This course introduces students to different engineering concepts like microcontrollers, electrical circuits, sensors, motors, gears and embedded programming. At the end of the course, the student will know techniques to design, build and control a robot. “The way the computer has touched every aspect of our lives today, robotics will play a huge role in making our lives easier tomorrow. We are excited to be the first in India to play a key role in robotics education as this will catapult India’s contribution in this field,” said CEO of PurpleLeap Amit Bansal.
  • CEO and co-founder of Robhatah Janesh Janardhanan feels robotics education will enhance the career prospects of many students in the country.
